Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Athlead Sports Group platform ("Athlead"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are creating an account on behalf of a minor athlete, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.
Eligibility & Accounts
Athlead accounts are available to athletes, parents, coaches, scouts, teams, and schools. Accounts for athletes under 18 must be created and managed with parental or guardian consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Membership Plans & Billing
Athlead offers free and paid membership tiers for Athletes, Parents, Coaches/Scouts, Teams, and Schools/Leagues, each with different features as described on our Membership page. Paid plans are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Athlete Data & Verified Statistics
Game statistics on Athlead are captured by certified referees and scorers through standardized digital workflows. While we work to ensure accuracy, statistics may occasionally be corrected after review. Disputed statistics can be flagged for review through your account.
Fantasy Games
Athlead Fantasy is a free-to-play, skill-based game built on verified real-game statistics. It does not involve real-money wagering, and no cash prizes are awarded. Fantasy standings and points are for entertainment purposes only.
User Conduct & Content
Users may not upload false statistics, impersonate athletes or officials, or post harassing, discriminatory, or unsafe content — particularly given the presence of minor athletes on the platform. Athlead may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
Intellectual Property
The Athlead name, logo, and platform design are the property of Athlead Sports Group. Athlete profiles, statistics, and media remain associated with the athlete but may be displayed publicly on the platform as part of the verified-record service.
Sponsorship & Advertising
Sponsored content, branded placements, and advertisements appearing on Athlead are clearly labeled. Sponsorship does not grant a sponsor editorial control over athlete data or verified statistics.
Limitation of Liability
Athlead is provided "as is." We are not liable for injuries occurring during games or events, decisions made by certified referees and officials, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. Athlead may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment of membership fees, or conduct that endangers other users.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Puerto Rico, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Athlead after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
